Offerpop, a Facebook Preferred Marketing Developer, today announced Activate by Offerpop — a way for marketers to bridge the gap between user-generated content and a purchase. Through Activate, a user sees a gallery of photos generated by other users on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Tumblr, and then they’re able to make a purchase of the content pictured.

For instance, a clothing brand could use Activate to spur conversions of outfits fans are wearing. Customers can click through this content to purchase directly from the brand’s website, or to access a promotion or more information. Through Activate, brands can see real-time metrics such as impact on ecommerce sales, most popular content, traffic and unique visitors.

Wendell Lansford, CEO of Offerpop, commented on the launch in a press release:

Marketers today must reach the new mobile, social consumer to generate real business results. With our new end-to-end platform, it is now possible for marketers to create meaningful consumer connections, drive revenue, and build brand loyalty fueled by user-generated content.
