One Public, a Facebook Preferred Marketing Developer, announced Wednesday that the company has acquired Telephony Media, a mobile design and development studio.

Founded in 2008, Telephony Media built one of the first iPhone and iPad applications and connected devices of their kind — iGrill, which has been praised by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg. The acquisition will boost One Public’s mobile-first approach in marketing technology, allowing the company to provide better service to CIOs and CMOs.

One Public CEO Fahad Khan commented on the acquisition in a press release:

We are very excited to bring Telephony Media, under One Public’s umbrella. Mobile is extremely hard and expensive, particularly in the marketing technology and agency landscape. We’d like to make it cost-effective and scalable. The introduction of unified Windows 8.1 application platform by Microsoft has opened new opportunities. Smart marketers are already investing heavily on Windows 8.1 apps. We have extensive experience on iOS platform and are looking to build a leadership position on Windows 8.1 platform.
