Facebook gives Places Editor a facelift

Places Editor — which allows users to edit or improve the Entity Graph listings on Facebook — has gone through a bit of a redesign. As first pointed out to Inside Facebook by Matteo Gamba of Wimdu, Places Editor has gotten a little more user-friendly with deeper and more easily-accessed features.


Through Places Editor, users can fix incorrect check-in locales by affixing the correctly-spelled name, inputting the real address of the place or by fixing any other inaccuracies.



On the top bar, users can see how many people they’ve “helped,” by offering edits that were later accepted by Facebook editors and checked in by people.
