One alternative to using subcontractors is to hire an outsourced service firm. Business tasks such as bookkeeping, payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable can all be allocated to an outsourced financial services firm. This way you don’t have to worry about tax reporting and labor requirements as you are hiring the services of a company (and paying a monthly service fee), versus the employ of an individual.
