Glow, a Facebook Strategic Preferred Marketing Developer, announced Friday that the company has hired Peter Gan, formerly Facebook’s Head of Sales for Games in the Asia/Pacific region. With Glow, Gan will lead the company’s international expansion as the Vice President of Asia Pacific.
Gan joined Facebook in November 2011 as the company’s head of mid-market sales in Australia, then took over gaming sales of APAC in January 2013. Prior to working at Facebook, Gan was the head of revenue development for Google’s APAC division. Glow is working with several clients in the China, Hong Kong and Singapore regions in the games and e-commerce verticals. Gan will work from Glow’s Singapore office.
Gan discussed the excitement of his new position in a press release:
I am thrilled to be joining the Glow team and can’t wait to grow the company in one of the most exciting regions in the world. The APAC market has immense opportunity and our expanding team combined with the extraordinary technology provided by Glow will be the cornerstone of our success in Asia.
